The choice of fabric is essential for maximum performance, comfort, and energy saving. For this reason, we offer two types of fabric to choose from, according to your needs.
The acrylic fabric is the most common in many colors and patterns. It is composed of resinous acrylic yarn.
The spread fabric (Solis and Pre-Contrant) comprises a high-tenacity polyester membrane protected by a colored thermoplastic polymer resin, recommended for maximum duration and water holding.
The wind is undoubtedly a critical environmental factor for an awning. All Pronema's models are certified in Class 2 for wind resistance, guaranteed to resist a wind not exceeding 38 km/h. If motorized, the curtains can be equipped with an optional wind-proof sensor so that when the wind rises, they automatically close.
All Pronema's awnings are designed to be easy to handle, either with a manual winch or motorized. An optional choice is the radio control equipment or wall button to activate the motor. The closing and opening of the awning can be automated by combining the atmospheric wind, sun, or rain intelligent sensors.
